Rooted in
Reclamation.

Honouring the history of Irish timber. I transform salvaged pallet wood into resilient garden furniture using the elemental power of fire.

Fire as a
Preservative.

Shou Sugi Ban (Yakisugi) is a traditional Japanese method of timber preservation. By charring the surface to a deep, silvery-black carbon layer, the wood becomes naturally resistant to moisture, UV damage, and pests — eliminating the need for toxic chemical stains.

Bring the spirit of Irish timber to your garden.

Whether it's a standard planter or a custom garden project, I'm currently accepting new commissions for the upcoming season.

The Paper Lab

Hand-printed botanical cards and paper goods crafted using reclaimed materials and natural dyes.

The Pallet's Journey

From the Alleyway to Garden Art.

I don't just build furniture. I rescue discarded timber and transform it into garden pieces that celebrate the history, texture, and resilience of reclaimed wood.

Our Philosophy

Built to be reclaimed by the earth.

I believe garden furniture shouldn't just exist in a garden — it should be an extension of it. By using reclaimed timbers and ancient preservation techniques like Shou Sugi Ban, I eliminate the need for toxic chemicals and plastics.

Every raised bed, planter, and table I make is designed to age gracefully. Over time, the charred surface develops a silvery patina that blends seamlessly into the Irish landscape.

Let's build
something together.

Why commission a piece?

Every project starts with a conversation. By working directly with me, you're not just buying furniture — you're participating in the revival of historic timber.

Reclaimed with Purpose

I exclusively use ethically sourced reclaimed wood — from weathered pallets to aged barn beams — giving historic timber a new life.

One Set of Hands

From the first sketch to the final coat of oil, your piece never leaves my home workshop. It's a personal process, start to finish.

Start the conversation

Don't worry about the technical details yet. Just share your idea, and I'll get back to you to discuss the possibilities.

I'm usually at my bench, but I typically reply within 48 hours.
