Our small raised bed is ideal for urban gardens, balconies, patios, or anyone looking to start their gardening journey. Despite its compact size, it provides ample space for herbs, salad greens, small vegetables, or beautiful flower displays.
Each bed is handcrafted from reclaimed pallet wood, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste. Every bed is finished using the traditional Japanese shou sugi ban technique—charring the wood surface to create a beautiful dark finish that naturally preserves the timber. We then seal it with food-safe Danish oil, ensuring it's completely safe for growing vegetables and herbs.

The Shou Sugi Ban Finish
Traditional Japanese Technique: Shou sugi ban (焼杉板) is an ancient method of preserving wood by charring its surface. This process creates a carbonized layer that naturally protects against rot, insects, fire, and weathering—all without chemical treatments.
Food-Safe Danish Oil: After charring, we seal the wood with pure Danish oil—a natural, non-toxic finish that's completely safe for food-growing applications.
Delivery & Setup
Delivery is available across Ireland. Each bed is delivered pre-assembled and ready to place in your garden. Simply position it, fill with soil, and start planting. Local delivery within County Monaghan may include placement assistance.
